The Challenge

"How is my company doing?" It's a question we hear often. It seems simple enough, but answering it is a complex process. Finding important patterns within granular sales data that includes information such as product, segment, region, date, salesperson, revenue and profit can be a challenge. Additionally, finding a way to present this information with enough detail to drive action is key.

The Solution

This report is designed to answer the question in a clear and straightforward manner by identifying areas of the business that are under performing.  We used color to highlight these problem areas, and leveraged a matrix with conditional formatting to give us granular insights that could prompt strategy changes. This report provides enough detail to act wisely based on the insights gained from the comparison of revenue and profit.
